Cameroon To Train In Kenya
Cameroon boss Otto Pfister has confirmed that the Indomitable Lions will prepare for the African Cup of Nations with a training camp in Kenya.
The squad will convene in the Cameroonian capital of Yaounde on January 4th for an initial meeting and then, two days later, they'll move on to Nairobi. Most coaches have already named their provisional squad for the Ghana-based tournament, but Pfister has one outstanding piece of business to complete before he can finalise his own. He needs to get in touch with Lauren. Lauren, a Portsmouth defender, hasn't donned the green shirt of Cameroon since 2002, but the German boss is easger to change that around. "I want to make contact and to get him to play," he told the BBC. Cameroon will compete with Egypt, Sudan and Zambia in an attempt to reach the second round of the Cup of Nations, which is something that they have not failed to do since 1996. source:goal.com |
