Bakari Koné Eyes Future At Spain

Ivory Coast star Bakari Koné has returned to French club Nice following the Africa Cup of Nations, but that hasn't stopped him dreaming of one day earning a move to Spain.

The youngster, Ligue 1's smallest players, has scored 8 goals in 18 appearances this season for the Aiglons, form he hopes will attract the interest of someone in La Liga.

"The club’s policy is that the players who have been brought to the team are allowed to be transferred if the club receives an interesting offer,” Koné told FootMercato.

“The ones who want to find new challenges know what they have to do. Time will tell. “The decisions will be made when the season ends. I am interested in Spain, I've never denied that. I love the way they play football.

"Right now I don’t know for which club I will play next season. I am under contract here until 2010 and I’m not obsessed by the idea of a move. I will leave before if I have to, nevertheless we will see after my contract is over.”
