Kuwait Thrown Out Of Pan-Arab Games
“Kuwait won’t participate in this edition of the Pan-Arab Games, a decision we had to make following Fifa’s ruling early this week against the participation of all clubs and national teams representing Kuwait,” the competition's organizing committee announced today.
The news may be well-received by Saudi Arabia and Sudan who have now moved automatically to the semi-finals stage of the football tournament. The remaining nation in Group 2, Yemen has already withdrawn. Sudan and Saudi Arabia will play one group match however - against each other in order to decide semi-final placings. Source:goal.com |
