Korea: Kim Nam-Il Set For Vissel Kobe?
The 30 year-old’s contract with K-league club Suwon Samsung Bluewings expires at the end of 2007 and he will become a free agent.
A key player in South Korea’s 2002 and 2006 World Cup campaigns, Kim is one of Asia’s top defensive midfielders and has been used in the centre of defence on occasion by Suwon. Japanese newspaper Sports Hochi reports that Kobe, due to end the 2007 J-league season in mid-table, are looking to strengthen in the middle of the park. The club is attracted by Kim’s physical power and the fact that he would be available on a free transfer. Source:goal.com |
