Sacked Mancini Defends Al-Nasr Record
The Brazilian was fired on Monday after a poor start to the season, culminating in a 3-1 loss at Al Shabab last weekend.
"We did a good job during the seven months I trained Al Nasr. We held a good preparation period before the start of the season, but the results were not good due to different reasons," Mancini told the Gulf News. "We played a good match against Al Shabab which we lost 3-1, our strikers missed several sitters which could have changed the result. The Al Shabab goals came from defensive mistakes which they benefitted from." "We suffered from some adminstration negatives which didn't help us to work in a good atmosphere, and that definitely affected the team," he said. source:goal.com |
