Jordan have been drawn in the same group as South Korea, North Korea and Turkmenistan while Oman take on Japan, Thailand and Bahrain.
The hosts took the lead with their first attack inside the opening minute.
Odai Al Saify shot home from the edge of the area.
Oman were fielding a weakened team and fell further behind with 11 minutes remaining thanks to Raed Al Nawatir.
The striker collected his second and his team’s third in the dying seconds after good work from Al Saify.
