The 2002 and 2006 World Cup star has been a free agent since the end of the 2007 season and was recently linked to Fulham.
The move to London was plunged into uncertainty with Fulham’s recent sacking of coach Lawrie Sanchez.
The 28 year-old joined Suwon in 2005 after spending almost three seasons with Dutch giants Feyenoord.
“We have been on the threshold of winning the league in the past two seasons,” Song told reporters. “Next season, it is time to reward the fans.”
Song has played 60 times for the national team.
