V-League Season Starts Sunday
The champions of the V-League can look forward to US$43,400 in prize money.
And, there will be 14 teams competing for the league title including Binh Duong, Nam Dinh, Long An, Thanh Hoa, Hanoi ACB, Hoa Phat Hanoi, Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa, Da Nang, Song Lam-Nghe An, Saigon Port, The Cong and Haiphong. The regular season will conclude on August 24 and runners-up will receive US$21,700 while the third-place team will win US$9,300. 14 teams from the V-League and 13 from the First Division will compete in the National Cup 2008. The top team can look forward to US$15,500 in prize money. The runners-up will receive US$7,750 and the third placed team gets US$3,100. The winner of the National Cup 2008 will play in the Super Cup tie against the V-League 2008 champions. source:goal.com |
