Metsu: Match Against AC Milan Good For UAE

Tough challenge?
It can only be good for my players, insists the Frenchman.
The UAE national team will play against Italian Serie A outfit Milan in a friendly match in Dubai on Tuesday. And, Metsu believes the Gulf side has to face strong teams in order to have more experience at the top level.
"Its important to play with strong teams including the best footballers in the World. This will add more to our players in gaining experience," said the former Senegal coach.
UAE will use the friendly match to prepare for their World cup qualifying campaign in February 6, when they meet Kuwait in their first match in Abu Dhabi.
"It's the first step in preparation for the Kuwait match despite the result, because the result we are looking for will be against Kuwait and not AC Milan," added the coach.
The 54-year-old is confident that with his players playing against strong teams, they can only improve and develop their skills further.
"Your standard will improve and the players skills develop," Metsu said.
