Jordan Name 26 Men Squad
The West Asian nation takes on North Korea in the first qualifier in Group Three of February 6. South Korea and Turkmenistan are the other two teams.
Portuguese coach Nelo Vingada takes Jordan to the United Arab Emirates on Thursday. The team will prepare for the North Korean test with two friendlies. The first takes place against Asian champions Iraq on January 24 and then Lebanon provide the opposition four days later. Jordan squad Goalkeepers: Mohamad Shatnawi (Al Hussain), Ahmed Abdulsattar (Shabab Al Ordun), Loa'y Al Amaireh (Al Faisaly). Defenders: Bashar Bani Yaseen, Raed Al Nawateer (both Al Jazeera), Bassem Fathi and Faisal Ibrahim (Al Wihdat), Mouneef Ababneh (Al Hussain), Waseem Al Bzour (Shabab Al Ordun), Mohammad Khamees, Hatem Aqel (both Al Faisaly), Khaled Saed (Zamalek/Egypt).
