New signing Selim Benachour fired Al Qadisiya into the lead after two minutes. The 25-year-old joined the Kuwait league outfit from Russian Premier League side Rubin Kazan in December.
Al Tadamon, however, levelled the scores when Al Qadisiya defender Hussain Fadhel scored an own goal.
After the break, the Emir Cup holders came out firing on all cylinders.
Abdullah Al Dhafeer restored the lead for Al Qadisiya in the 61st minute. Benachour bagged his second goal of the match on 70 minutes, as the Tunisian helped his side to victory.
In the other Group B matches on Tuesday, Al Nasr stunned Al Salmiya 2-0 with goals coming from Jassim Al Hashemi and Ahmed Mousa, while Al Jahra'a defeated Al Shabab 1-0.
