With the victory, Al Salmiya moved to the top of Group B in the Kuwait FA Cup.
Gláucio, 32, gave his side the lead in the 3rd minute. His striker partner, Saud Soweid, doubled Al Salmiya’s lead just before half-time.
After the break, the Brazilian scored his second goal of the match after break. Gláucio, who formerly played for Avispa Fukuoka completed his hat-trick in the 75th minute.
Kheitan managed to grab a consolation goal through midfielder Raed Abdulrazzaq three minutes from the end.
Al Salmiya moved to the top of the group, one point ahead of Al Qadisiya who play against Al Shabab on Wednesday
In other matches, Al Tadamon were held to a 1-1 stalemate with Al Nasr who opened the scoring through their Omani striker Jassem Al Hashemi after 12 minutes, before Al Tadamon leveled the scores one minute before the hour mark.
