English Press: Caen's Gouffran Set For Arsenal Move

21-year-old Caen forward Yoann Gouffran is said to be on the way to Highbury this summer.

The French U-21 international made the breakthrough to first team action in 2003, and has since established himself as a regular at Malherbe.

Last season he scooped the Ligue 2 Player of the Year award, following that up with five strikes so far in Caen's successful return to the top flight.

Now, Arsenal are said to have landed the player in a summer move worth £5m (6.7m euros), bringing the player to the Emirates in June.

Gouffran, born just outside Paris, has 13 U-21 caps for France, having competed at the 2006 U-21 European Championships in Portugal.
