Flamini To Snub Arsenal Contract!!

The midfielder has yet to sign the improved deal which would increase his wages from £20,000 to £50,000 a week.

According to the Sun newspaper, Arsenal fear Flamini, who will be a free agent in the summer if he refuses the offer, may have already been approached by a rival club.

Now the Gunners may have to agree new terms with the 23year old star to stop him from walking out in the summer.

Flamini’s excellent form this season puts him in a strong negotiating position. His hard running, all action style has seen him hold off competition from the highly-rated Brazilian Gilberto Silva and French international Lassana Diarra, now at Portsmouth, to form a new midfield axis with Cesc Fabregas.

With Flamini and Fabregas in the centre, Arsenal have established a three point lead at the top of the Premiership and still hope for victory over AC Milan when the two sides meet in the Champions League second leg match in Italy next month.

Yet less than a year ago, many observers thought the ex-Marseille midfielder was destined for the Emirates exit after failing to fulfil his potential.

Manager Arsene Wenger gave the star another chance and has been rewarded with a string of excellent performances, with Flamini now considered a mainstay of the team.

Separate reports claim that he has already reached a verbal agreement with Juventus, and could well sign a pre-contract with the Old Lady after looking at Arsenal's next offer.
