Grant: Arsenal Are Not Out Of Race
Gunners lost their last match at Stamford bridge after a series of five matches which ended in a draw. Now Chelsea are in second spot five points behind leaders Man United. Chelsea after a impressive run are being the only tittle contenders who can upset the Red Devils.
But Grant believes that it would not be wise to rule Arsenal out and it is still a possibility that gunners can fight their way back as there are still seven more matches to go. Chelsea will be hosting Boro on Sunday and he believes now they should keep themselves focused and take one match at a time. "Middlesbrough drew at Arsenal last time, so we need to do our job. It won't be easy" Grant continued "You need to keep your players focused all the time, especially now when you're coming up to the last games. We've done a good job up to now" He also spoke about Lampard and Terry, Lampard missed the friendly against France due to illness and Terry came off at half-time in Paris due to a minor hamstring injury. "Frank Lampard is not feeling so well," added Grant. "He didn't train today, but we'll see tomorrow. John Terry trained and I think he'll be okay. "We have a game every three days for the next few weeks. We're not just thinking about the next game, but other aspects like physical condition. We have to think like that." |
