Dortmund Interested In Hajnal

Reigning second division champions Karlsruher SC look set to lose star midfielder Tamas Hajnal in the summer after Borussia Dortmund came knocking.
The newly promoted Badeners have made a brilliant start to their first season back in the Bundesliga, but once again look resigned to bowing to the financial might of Germany's wealthier clubs.
"Before we were a feeder club to Bayern," smiled KSC sporting director Rolf Dohmen, reminding that star names like Oliver Kahn, Mehmet Scholl and Thorsten Fink all made their way to Munich via Karlsruhe.
"Now it seem's we're doing the same job for Borussia Dortmund," he added - BVB took Giovanni Federico, the club's top scorer last season, back in the summer.
Hajnal - Take It Or Leave It
And the talented Hungarian Tamas Hajnal looks set follow in the Italian's footsteps by moving up to the Westfalenstadion this summer on a free transfer.
As Dohmen admits, it's a question of money: "Michael Zorc (Dortmund's sporting director) rang up and asked to speak to Hajnal," said the KSC man. "It was all handled correctly. If Tamas has an offer from them then we can't compete.
"The longer the process lasts, the more unlikely it is that Tamas will stay," he continued. "We've made him a great offer considering our means, and if he doesn't want to take it he can go. We won't be held to ransom."
Others Interested
The player's agent, meanwhile, says Dortmund is not a done deal, although it's likely Hajnal will leave Karlsruhe. "It's not only Dortmund who are interested," he said. "Tamas needs to work hard and make his decision in peace as to which option is best for him."
