India: Churchill Refuse To Pay Fine

The GFA had imposed a fine of Rs.5, 000 ($127) on the club secretary Ciabro Alemao and manager Denzie Ferrao.
However, the Durand Cup winners believe that the GFA owes the club after gate collections in the National Football League (NFL) and the local league.
The Churchill manager was quoted as saying: “Let the GFA deduct the fine from the sum it owes to Churchill.”
The club will appeal against the ban to the GFA Appeals Committee.
The GFA meanwhile, have accepted the letter by Churchill but don't regard it as an official appeal.
