The Goan coach fractured his right leg tibia after a clash with a cow while riding his two- wheeler.
According to sources, the coach could be out of action for roughly three months and will be operated later in the day.
The accident occurred on the outskirts of Margao when the coach was returning home. Mr.Colaco was immediately taken to Vintage Hospital, Panjim.
Speaking to a local daily, Mr.Colaco said, “I will be operated tomorrow as my tibia (shin bone) is fractured.
“I am confident that the boys will regroup before the next match against East Bengal as our prime aim is to win the I-League title.”
