The Premier League Trophy is made by Asprey and Garrad – the official jewelers of Her Majesty’s Crown. The body is made of solid sterling silver while the base is of Malachite. The green color of the opaque stone represents the field.
The EPL Trophy is designed along the lines of The Three Lions of English football. Two of the lions are to be found on the handles on either side of the trophy while the captain of the winning team becomes the third when he raises the silverware.
