Totti Should Apologise To Manninger - Mazzone

Totti repeatedly punched the match ball as the Siena goalkeeper held on to it in an attempt to get on with the game.

However Mazzone, who introduced Totti to the football world when he was Roma coach, revealed that he was not impressed by the captain’s actions during the game.

“These are small gestures that he should really not be doing,” Mazzone told Napoli Magazine.

“I know that people are always watching him, I hope Francesco apologises to Manninger, it was not the ‘keepers fault.”

The former Brescia coach was also disappointed with the Giallorossi’s performance which he claims is one of the worst he has seen.

“I think the game against Siena is one of the worst I have ever seen in the last few years, or at least since Spalletti has been at the helm,” he declared.

“I cannot remember such an ugly game, there was a complete blackout amongst players, it happens though.”

Roma will now be looking to bounce back from this latest set back when they clash with relegation strugglers Reggina at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday night.
