Totti Disapponited With Robinhos Absence

Real Madrid forward Robinho looks likely to be a big name absentee as we lead up to Real Madrid's visit to Roma in the second round of the Champions League, but this does not make Giallorossi captain Francesco Totti particularly happy.

The Roma icon claims he always wants to see the best players on the pitch, even if they are on the opponents' side.

"Robinho will not play against us in the Champions League? That's too bad, because it's always nice to see a player like him, especially on the international stage," Totti said.

"I'm sure he will be there in the return game, but not seeing him at the Stadio Olimpico will diminish the spectacle. That said, I'm also happy because he's the kind of player who can make the difference.

"For us, it's better if they have two or three big name players missing. But Robinho is their most important player, he's a dangerous player. But if I have to list Real's big players I'll be here until tomorrow morning," the number 10 concluded.
