Lehmann Linked With Juventus Switch
Juventus are back to their winning ways and look to have sealed Champions League qualifying spot. Thinking ahead for the next season Juventus is strengthening the squad.
There has been recent poor runs which has exposed its midfield and it is a matter of concern and apart from that they will be keen on adding a good deputy for Gianluigi Buffon. Currently Juventus have Emanuele Belardi and Jess Vanstrattan as second choice stoppers, but the former was not impressive when he played this season and the latter being very inexperienced may well return to his homeland Australia. Tuttosport claims that Juventus are thinking of roping in Arsenal stopper Lehmann, the 38 year old is currently playing second fiddle to Almunia and has featured in just four premier league games. His current contract with gunners will expire at the end of the season and he is sure to leave Emirates. Though the German international has stated that he wants to return to Bundesliga, an offer from the old lady may tempt him to return to La Liga, where he has failed in the 90's with Milan. Apart from Lehmann juventus are also linked with Mickael Landreau, Alex Manninger and Ferdnando Coppola. |
