The Yellow Submarine opened their account through Nihat Kahveci 12 minutes before the break and Santi Cazorla added another in the second period.

Matías Fernández was the star of the show for the visitors as he caused the hosts problems throughout and he had a hand in both goals.

After just four minutes the Chilean international saw a shot from outside the area fly just wide of the goal.

Just after the half-hour mark, Villarreal took the lead when Fernández cross from the left was met by Nihat and the striker tuckjed the ball past Miroslav Miller.

The visitors sat back and soaked up pressure after the restart and after denying their hosts they netted a second with 56 minutes on the clock.

It was Fernández again who provided the telling pass and this time Cazorla shot across the keeper and into the far corner of the net.

In the closing minutes both Fernández and Jon Dahl Tomasson went close before Mladá Boleslav netted a late consoltion Alexandre Mendy finally beat Diego López for a consolation goal.

After drawing at home in their first game, victory ensured that Villarreal are in a strong position to qualify for the next stage and now face Eflsborg at home in three weeks time.
