Fred Or Baros Will Leave Lyon

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has revealed that either Milan Baros or Fred will leave the club this month.

Aulas said: "It is established between Fred and Baros that one of them will leave the club before the end of the January transfer window.

"But I cannot say which one as we are still receiving offers for both of them," he added.

English Premier League club Portsmouth are reportedly keen on signing Czech Republic striker Baros, who experienced English top-flight football with Liverpool and Aston Villa, while several clubs are said to be chasing Brazilian striker Fred.

Baros (pictured) is understood to be considering his options following Pompey's declaration of interest in him.

Fred has said he would be happy to stay at Lyon but Aulas is prepared to let the 24-year-old go.
