Juande Did Not Go For The Money - Rijkaard
The FC Barcelona boss thinks that the challenge of coaching in the Premiership was what attracted the 53-year-old to move to White Hart Lane.
Ramos resigned as coach of Sevilla on Friday and was announced as the new manager at Tottenham a day later with a deal reportedly worth €7m per season. “I do not think that Juande only thought of money when he took his decision," he said. “Everybody is free to do what they want with his life and career.” Rijkaard has been compared to Ramos for his laid back style of coaching, but the Dutchman thinks that there are no similarities. “We cannot be compared because we are our own people,” he said. “The only thing I can do for him is to wish him all the best at Tottenham. For sure he did a great job at Sevilla. |
