Aguirre Enjoying Atleti Form

"We’re having a good time with it and we’re playing well," he said on Saturday evening. "This has allowed everyone on the roster to feel committed and important.
"And soon we have the King’s Cup, a competition that we’re not going to take lightly."
He also praised Sergio Aguero, a player he was unimpressed by last season.
"We’re talking about a progression that’s not stopping," he said. "He can play alone or with another striker up top.
"I said months ago that he’d make history at this Club and now he’s beginning to."
About the match against Levante, he was more cautious, though.
"I give as much importance to the Levante match as the one against Sevilla because there are three points at play," opined the mexican.
"The match against Levante is very important; it’s the most important one because it’s the next one.
"We’re talking about an opponent that is hav1ng trouble and is really in need of points, which means that they’ll want to get back on their feet on their pitch, because otherwise, they’re going to have problems.
"We’re facing professional players. I asked Abiatti, who had De Biasi as manager last season, and he told me that he works really hard and is very serious.
"Levante have qualified and experienced players. I can’t say that we’re going to win just because we’re Atletico and we’re better than them.
"Not at all… When you are overconfident or you relax, you get surprised. We don’t want to think we´re just going for a walk or can let down.
"We’re facing the match with the best players we have and with the mentality that we’re not going to lose the trail of the teams up top.
"We don’t want to fall off the pace, above all because there are matches this week that could favour us; as long as we do things well on our side, we have a chance of gaining some points on those above us."
