Ronaldinho Transfer Talks To Be Postponed Until End Of Season
The Brazilian superstar has had a miserable season thus far and has struggled terribly to live up to his sky-high performance levels of the past few years.
He has been left out of the team on a number of occasions recently and was verbally abused at Barcelona’s ‘El Prat’ Airport by fans following the 1-0 El Clasico defeat to rivals Real Madrid a few days before Christmas. This has all intensified speculation that Ronaldinho is set for a January transfer to long-time admirers AC Milan. However Barca President Joan Laporta has decided that no decision will be made on the 27-year-old’s future until the end of the current campaign. This move by Laporta probably has a political flavour to it, however what is certainly clear is that Ronaldinho is fast losing the support of his team-mates, employees and the Barcelona supporters. The ex-PSG man has also been hit by an injury setback, as it has been revealed that he has tendonitis and will probably miss the forthcoming Copa del Rey encounter with Alcoyano and the league clash with Real Mallorca. source:goal.com |
