The two sides lock horns in the Catalan city and although Vicente believes his side can do well he has warned to be wary of the Blaugrana. He also insists that winning the Cup would be a great achievement given his side’s poor season thus far.

“To be honest I think we have the chance to fix our season and end it with something special,” Vicente told Marca.

“It’s going to be hard but we are aware that we have to take advantage to make up for a bad season.

“The problem is that Barcelona are in great shape and they are having an excellent season.

“They have great players like Ronaldinho, Messi, Eto’o and it’s not by chance that they scored eight goals in two games. All their players have been in fine form recently and you can’t hide that.”

Vicente admits that playing the Blaugrana is a special moment for him and that it’s something he always looks forward to.

“I am feeling fine and I hope I can help my team win the Copa Del Rey, It’s always special for me playing against Barcelona, It’s a game which motivates me and it would be the best feeling if we knocked them out.”

Valencia will be hoping to cause a major upset at the Camp Nou and a win over the Azulgrana would be a massive boost for Los Che.
