Arsene Wenger pleased with the first-half performance and relaxed about finishing

Arsenal were two-up at half-time through Abou Diaby and Nicklas Bendtner, before Steaua made the score 2-1 with a second-half goal from Doriel Zaharia at the Emirates Stadium. However, the result was rarely in serious doubt despite an uncomfortable 15 minutes after the Romanians scored.
Although victory was not enough to earn the Gunners top spot, Wenger was not overly concerned about being in line for a potentially awkward draw against one of the group winners in the knockout phase.
Wenger told Sky Sports: "We could get a good draw and it could be an interesting last 16.
"We knocked [Real] Madrid and Juventus out two years ago and everybody is up for it.
"I felt it was a good first half physically. Robin van Persie also got a good first half and there were some other good performances as well."
Van Persie made his first appearance for two months since suffering a knee injury on duty for Holland in October, and was given a 64-minute run-out in which he looked sharp and hungry.
Arsenal now take on Chelsea in a crucial Premier League game on Sunday, but Wenger said he is not sure yet whether he will give van Persie another run-out in that high-pressure fixture.
He said: "We will have to see. You can take a gamble with one or two but three is too many."
Van Persie himself enjoyed being back in action. He said: "I am very pleased. It has been too long, two months I think.
"I was unlucky when it happened but I am back now and I want to thank the medical staff. They showed me great ambition to make me fit."
And goalscorer Nicklas Bendtner was also pleased to make the most of his starting place.
Bendtner told Sky Sports News: "Obviously it is good for me, I have not been starting much this season.
"We didn't finish top of the group but it is a great chance to show we can play big teams."
