Manchester United will contest their first final in nine years at at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow on 21st May. From here on it will be an all English affair with the other opponent in the final will be decided from todays clash between Chelsea and Liverpool.
Paul Scholes scored his last European in October 2006, but yesterday he made up for all that, when a scored a superb stunner from 30 yards. This was the only goal scored in the whole match. But there were lot of chances where Red devils could have sealed the match in the first half. Barcelona were good but they just could not get past Van der sar. Deco, Messi, Henry and Eto’o all had their shots blocked by the United stopper. Wes Brown and Rio Ferdinand heroics in the defense are also worth mentioning.
Personally I would like to see Liverpool facing Man United in the final. I would love to hear your views…
